The International is the biggest event of the Dota 2 calendar and winning one is every pro player’s dream. Every year the venue changes, but the pedigree of the tournament remains the same. This year The International is heading to Shanghai and here’s everything we know about it so far.
The International 2026 Schedule & Format
TI 15 is taking place in August this year, running for 11 from 13 to 23 August. The event is split into multiple stages like usual, with the group stage running from 13 to 16 August and the main event running from 20 to 23 August.
The event will also have the usual qualifiers, with the open qualifiers running from 9 to 12 June and regional qualifiers lasting just under two weeks, from 15 to 28 June.

As mentioned, The International 2026 will be in Shanghai, with the playoffs being played from 20 to 23 August at the Oriental Sports Center in front of a live crowd!

Fans will be able to buy tickets to attend the TI 15 playoffs from 20 to 23 August. These will very likely be available via Perfect World and based on the previous TI in China, prices will likely range from $70 to $450.
