It’s time for a bit of variety in the Dota 2 esports scene, with a smaller tournament taking center stage, as Premier Series Dota 2 headlines the start of April!
The event is a quick online tournament featuring both up and coming teams, as well as some of the world’s best. Here’s everything you need to know!
Premier Series Dota 2 Schedule & Format
Premier Series takes place from 01 to 11 April, giving us 10 days of exciting Dota 2 action! Things kick off with a group stage focused on the up and comers of the Dota 2 world, featuring the likes of GamerLegion, Zero Tenacity, L1GA Team, and others.
The event starts with two round-robin groups of five teams. The top team of each group advances to the playoffs and second place from each advances to a playoffs decider, which gives us the final playoffs team. They’re joined by five big dogs waiting in the playoffs: Team Spirit, Team Liquid, Parivision, Heroic, and Mouz.

The playoffs are then a simple eight team double-elimination bracket. All teams start in the upper bracket and once a team loses two series, there out.
