One of Dota 2’s biggest events, the Esports World Cup, is fast approaching. However, before we get there, the full list of teams has to be decided. Some are directly invited, while others have to go through grueling qualifiers. Here’s our breakdown of the Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2026 Qualifiers.

The Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2026 Qualifiers are set to take place across the globe from 29 May to 07 June. The matches will be played on different days and times, depending on the region. Information is being released piece by piece, but we already have an (almost) full layout for the Dota 2 open qualifiers!

- Western Europe Open Qualifier 1: TBA
- Eastern Europe Open Qualifier 1: 29 May to 30 May, starting at 09:50 BST, 10:50 CEST, 11:50 MSK, 04:50 EDT.
- Middle East Southwest Asia Open Qualifier 1: 29 May to 30 May, starting at 04:00 BST, 06:00 AST, 23:00 EDT (day before).
- Middle East Southwest Asia Open Qualifier 2: 31 May to 01 June, starting at 04:00 BST, 06:00 AST, 23:00 EDT (day before).
- South East Asia Open Qualifier 1: 29 May to 30 May, starting at 05:00 BST, 00:00 EDT, 11:00 WIB, 12:00 PHST.
- North America Open Qualifier 1: 29 May to 30 May, starting at 17:00 BST, 12:00 EDT, 09:00 PDT.
- North America Open Qualifier 2: 29 May to 30 May, starting at 17:00 BST, 12:00 EDT, 09:00 PDT.
- South America Open Qualifier 1: 29 May to 30 May, starting at 18:00 BST, 13:00 EDT, 12:00 PET.
These open qualifiers will be played in a simple single elimination bracket. The initial matches will be best of one, with the qualification matches played in a best of three format. So, things will be very high pressure as just one mistake could cause teams to be eliminated and miss out on the Esports World Cup closed qualifiers!
