Yuma Bolsters Nouns Rebuild

North America is seeing a major Dota 2 shake-up, with Nouns, TSM, and Shopify Rebellion all making changes. The former have announced their most recent signing, picking up their carry for 2024.

Yuma Joins Nouns After Major North American Shuffle

Despite claiming the highest ranking of all North American teams at The International 12, Nouns made sweeping changes over the offseason.

Three Nouns players departed the roster as the team looked to improve for 2024. They were left with position 3 player Nicolas “Gunnar” Lopez and pos 4 (and captain) Rodrigo “Lelis” Santos. Fans were curious about where the squad would go next and we finally have our answer with Nouns picking up Yuma “Yuma” Langlet.

Yuma is an experienced pos 1 who made his entry into tier 1 Dota with D1 Hustlers promotion to division one in Western Europe, followed by a move to Nigma Galaxy. After seven months and some hit-and-miss results, he’s now on his way to North America to carve a new path for his career.

Who Will Round Out The Nouns Roster?

With the signing of Yuma, Nouns just need two more players – a pos 3 and a pos 5. Unfortunately, it’s a bit too soon to say who exactly will be joining the squad. If they wish to stay regional, players like Paul “Speeed” Bocchicchio and Daniel “Bloody Nine” Foster are still free agents.

Meanwhile, there is a wealth of talent across the world, with many teams making changes all over. This could be a chance to import some talent, although that depends on the financial situation of the organization. We’ll just have to wait and see what Nouns cook up.
